FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio– Fairview Park police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people who they say were seen on surveillance video stealing items from a car.
Police say the department received complaints Monday morning of someone going into unlocked cars in the Coffinberry neighborhood and taking items from the vehicles.
A resident on South Sagamore Dr. caught one of those crimes on their surveillance system.
The video shows two males pulling into the resident’s driveway in a Dodge Charger at around 5 a.m. According to Fairview Park police, they get out of the car and walk up to two parked cars in the driveway. One car is locked; the other is not. Police say they go into the unlocked car and steal items from the center console.
Before leaving, police say they walk to a home next door, then return to their car and leave.
If you have any information on who the suspects might be, you’re asked to call Fairview Park police at (440)-333-1234.
